The company, with the financial support of the Cultura Crea Program, set out to develop a technological platform that integrates functions aimed at streamlining the creative, production and distribution cycle of its services through:
– a Content Management System (CMS) to deliver multimedia contents.
-A preproduction and test environment
-An automatic distribution/updating system of contents loaded on the viewing devices (3D glasses with transparent lenses) based on their destination.
The project for the creation of the aforementioned platform was called “GECO-3D”: platform for the management of 3D contents.
The National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN) was involved in an initial experimentation of the platform, which expressed its interest in the creation of new augmented reality visit itineraries for its Permanent Collections.
