The tour is available everyday at 10.30 AM.
This Tour is designed for visitors who want to admire the ruins of Herculaneum as they were before the eruption of 79 AD, by joining a group of fellow travelers.
Your family will participate in a mixed group with other visitors.
The price is dedicated to families with two adults and two children (under 18).
The price includes: Tour Assistant, AR Glasses, an audio narration and the entrance tickets.
The Tour includes the presence of an exclusively dedicated Tour Assistant (in Italian and English). The Audioguide is available in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.

Useful Information:
- The tour is available every day at 10.30
- The meeting point is located at the entrance to the Herculaneum site (via dei Papiri Ercolanesi). Meet our Staff at the snack area next to the ticket office. The Tour Assistant will be waiting for you near the vending machines with a sign saying “ARTour”.
- Please try to arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- If you arrive LATE, please contact us via Whatsapp on +39 081 18221107 or send us an email to booking@ar-tour.it.
- The Tour Assistant will accompany the group throughout the entire tour (2h). Afterward, we will return to the starting point where you will return the AR Glasses and accessories.
- Once the tour is finished and the augmented reality glasses are returned, you are welcome to stay in the archaeological park and explore the site at your own pace.
- This is a walking tour, so please ensure you wear comfortable shoes.
- The tour takes place regardless of weather conditions, so it is advisable to dress appropriately.
- AR glasses can also be worn by participants who already wear eyeglasses.
